The ghmc polling day has come and in many wards there were more policemen on the streets or wards of ghmc hyderabad limits than voters in many parts of hyderabad city and in Old City where polling is usually brisk, very few voters trooped into the polling booths on Tuesday in the first hour of voting today 2nd feburary 2016.

Today GHMC election has begun in a dull phase but on a peaceful note in hyderabad 

02.20 p.m.: Political party stalls to guide voters and issue voters' slips are idle with very few voters coming in at Adikmet.
01.50 p.m.: In 1,250 polling stations across West Zone, 26 percent voting was recorded till 1 p.m. #GHMCElections
